As the Head of Group Services, you will play a critical role in strengthening Helmes' internal business support functions to meet the demands of a growing international organization.


Your focus will be on enhancing the quality and efficiency of group-wide services, setting clear strategic goals for these services, designing the best service models with fair budget allocation mechanics and ensuring internal services contribute meaningfully to Helmes’ business growth. 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Strategic development of Group services. Establish clear goals for internal services that are aligned with Helmes' broader business strategy. Design and scale service offerings for new and existing group entities, ensuring adaptability to varying business needs. Develop practical and transparent service/pricing models. 

  • Service performance and quality. Ensure consistent availability and high standards of internal services across the group, considering the potentially different needs of Helmes Group companies. 

  • Leadership of business support functions. Oversee and support leaders across key internal service domains – Marketing, Office Management, HR, Legal, Internal IT and Information Security. You’ll enable leaders develop professionally, monitor their progress, and guide cross-functional efforts that improve overall service delivery. 

  • Financial oversight and investment planning. In collaboration with the CFO team, manage budgets and service-related financial models. Provide transparent internal reporting and plan long-term investments in service development, aiming for measurable returns. 

  • Subsidiary integration. Act as a key partner for integrating new companies into the Helmes Group services and synergies. This includes onboarding through internal services, supporting rebranding when needed, guiding through internal communications, and conducting structured follow-ups. 

  • Cross-Group collaboration. Support cooperation between business units and group companies. This includes shared decision-making processes, effective knowledge sharing practices, and internal networking activities. 

  • Stakeholder engagement. Build strong and trust-based relationships with business area leaders and function heads. Act as a connector between group strategy and day-to-day operational support. 

Profile: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Excellent track record of leading leaders, with coaching and consulting skills. 

  • Professional presence, combined with diplomacy and inclusiveness. 

  • Structured, data-informed mindset. 

  • Literate in financial subjects, good at prioritizing and distinguishing between costs and investments. 

  • Proven ability to manage change and organizational development. 

  • Preferably, experience in leading one or more business service functions (HR, marketing, finance, legal, internal IT).

  • Preferably, experience in international and/or professional services environment. 

  • Fluency in English, knowledge of Estonian is a bonus.
